Who doesn’t love a fur vest? For me, it’s a closet staple and I love having a few different ones on hand during this season to spruce up an outfit. I’ve heard from many that they love the look but get stumped trying to put an outfit together with one. I’ve teamed up with one of my all time favorite bloggers, my friend Ami Desai, to bring you a Style Challenge with 3 ways to style a fur vest. Both of us had black fur vests in our closets which to me is the perfect color to start with if you’re looking for a faux fur. My faux fur vest is from online boutique NADIA RIMA. For these looks, our only rule was to be true to our style and work with what we have! Let’s start with our more casual look:
For this look, I went simple with an easy button down flannel, my favorite distressed jeans, and a pop of leopard. This look would also be adorable with OTK boots or booties! I’d wear this to lunch, shopping, and even a family dinner. I love the way Ami chose a simple sweater dress and OTK boots. I love this sweater dress and need it in my life! Her look would be great for a daytime outing and she could throw on a statement necklace or statement earrings to take it into the evening!
These next looks are more classic. Not too much frill, just easy basics.
Here I paired a simple neutral sweater with my favorite high waisted leggings and OTK boots (these boots are under $100 and SO GOOD!). I’d wear this look out to dinner or for a more dressed up daytime look. I ADORE Ami’s leather skirt and statement heels and love how she kept it classic in all black. A statement necklace finished off both of our looks.

I got this sequins miniskirt a couple of months ago and LOVE the shade of gold that it is. I chose a bold lip which I’ve linked here and the color is Famous Red. When I go with a bold lip I usually keep accessories and hair pretty simple! This look of Ami’s is SO darling and so chic I just can’t get enough! I never would have thought to pair a faux fur with a maxi dress but it works so well and I can’t wait to try it out myself. Can we talk for a second about how naturally GORGEOUS she is?!
