This one is for all my 9 to 5 boss babes! I’ve had so many requests to share some office friendly outfits so I was very excited to put this post together for you ladies. As you all know, I am now a stay at home mom but before this gig, I did pharmaceutical sales for years. Express was always at the top of my list for shopping for my work wardrobe. It is such an easy go to for me for a several reasons!
I can always count on finding great versatile pieces at Express. I’m all about mix and match options for the office, versatility is key! I also love that they offer petite sizing options, they make it so easy.
When I saw this high waisted tie skirt, I knew that I had to have it! It’s the perfect black skirt to have in your closet. It can take you from the office to happy hour, dress it up for a dinner or holiday party, or style it more casually on a weekend. I know I will get tons of wear from this one! I paired it with a simple crew neck sweater which I have to say, this one is a favorite. It comes in several color options and it’s incredibly soft! I love the higher neckline for work, and the fit of it is just perfect. I can already think of several of ways to wear it, it’s definitely a closet staple. I plan to wear it next layered under a vest, and I am eyeing this one!
Another go to look for me when I would dress for the office (and I still do this), is adding a statement necklace to a simple look. It always makes me feel a little more polished and adds some glam to my everyday basics.
